The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is following the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to open COVID-19 booster vaccinations to all and recommending anyone 18 years and older get a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose six months after receiving their second Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, or two months after receiving the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Will County and Lewis University will host the sixth annual “Catapult a Pumpkin” event from 9:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Nov. 6 in the “W” parking lot South of the main entrance of Lewis University in Romeoville. Workforce Center of Will County to host Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities

The Workforce Center of Will County is partnering with the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Joliet Township High School to host a Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd at the Joliet Township High School Administration Building, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet. Representatives from several local businesses resource organizations will be participating.
