On the Road --  On Friday, October 14, members of the Workforce Center of Will County joined trustees of the Frankfort Library District to celebrate a new weekly stop for the county’s Mobile Workforce Center.

     The Will County Health Department worked with Silver Cross Hospital to create a Total Nutrition Policy, a program to improve employee wellness through healthy standards for meals, snacks, and beverages.

     The Will County Land Use Department has announced implementation of their new cloud-based permitting system.  The new system is designed to increase efficiency and make the Land Use permitting process more user-friendly.

     Will County officials today gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new Public Safety Complex and mark an important milestone for the construction of several major capital projects over the next four to five years. The new home for the Sheriff's Office, 911 Dispatch Center and Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) could open by the end of next year.
