Will County and ShareFest Partner for Free Drive-Thru Food Giveaway

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and ShareFest Will County will host a free drive-thru food giveaway event from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Will County Office Building located at 302 N. Chicago Street, Joliet, IL 60432.

Registration in advance is required to help expedite the process and move vehicles through the line quickly and orderly. Appointments are available in 10-minute increments, and attendees should arrive at the designated time slot.

“ShareFest has been an outstanding partner in helping us provide food to residents throughout Will County,” said County Executive Bertino-Tarrant. “With local uncertainty about the impact of federal SNAP changes and rising grocery prices, it is more important than ever to provide opportunities for assistance to families.”

Attendees are asked to enter the County Office Building parking lot from Scott Street. Volunteers will line up their vehicles and will load them with groceries. Attendees must arrive within their scheduled time slot to avoid congestion. Time slots are available at www.ShareFestWillCounty.org.

Volunteers provide critical support for the event, such as loading food into vehicles, traffic control, and unloading food from trucks. To sign-up as a volunteer, visit www.ShareFestWillCounty.org.

For more information or questions, please contact the Will County Executive Office at countyexec@willcounty.gov or (815) 740-4601.
