Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant invites the public to the annual three-day Book Reuse and Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 3 - June 5 at Joliet Park District’s Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Drive.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant appointed two residents to the Workforce Investment Board of Will County in May. The appointments were approved by the County Board at its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 19.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant named 23 residents to 10 boards and commissions in April. This included seven fire protection districts, one cemetery association, the Will County Board of Health, and the Will County Historic Preservation Commission. The appointments were approved by the County Board at its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 21.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant welcomes the public to the annual Textile Collection Event at the Will County Office Building, from Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 8.

The Workforce Center of Will County, in partnership with the Village of Romeoville and Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce, will host a job fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25.

 Recyclepalooza will return as part of New Lenox’s Sharefest on Saturday, Sept. 11, giving Will County residents a way to recycle and reuse items they no longer want.

Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County is making it easier for families to keep up with their loved ones, even when they can’t be there.

The August schedule for the Workforce Services Division of Will County Mobile Workforce Center includes stops in seven Will County communities and four special events.  

The Workforce Center of Will County will return to in-person workshops for job seekers in August.
