Will County is partnering with the Joliet Slammers and the City of Joliet to host Water Conservation Night when the Slammers play the Gateway Grizzlies on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:35 p.m.

The Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has launched a damage assessment survey for residents and businesses who have been impacted by the severe weather on July 15. The survey will support the ongoing efforts of damage assessment teams who are visually inspecting damage to personal property, businesses, and public infrastructure throughout the county. 

The Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is advising residents that a Heat Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service. The advisory will remain in effect until 7 PM on Monday, July 15. 

It’s time to celebrate the 4th of July all across the country, and Will County’s GIS Division is here to help with an interactive map detailing the various festivals, parades, and firework displays being hosted by Will County communities.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Will County Community Development Division will be hosting a community event from 10 AM to 3 PM on June 22 at the Fairmont Community Center, 525 Barry Avenue. Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant signed a proclamation today officially recognizing June 19 as Juneteenth Day of Observance in Will County. Juneteenth is a recognized county holiday for Will County government. All county buildings will be closed on the holiday, with the exception of essential county services and public safety operations.

A “Healthy Lifestyle Event” will be hosted in Joliet to provide produce, vegetables, and healthcare resources on Friday, June 21 at All Nation Church of God, 507 Water Street.

Will County's Resource Recovery and Energy Division hosted their annual Book Reuse and Recycling Event last week at the Joliet Park District's Pilcher Park Nature Center. The event welcomed over 1,800 residents who dropped off or picked up books for free.
