Workforce Services Division of Will County has scheduled its January workshops for job seekers at its new location.

Workforce Services Division of Will County has announced the Mobile Workforce Center’s January schedule. 

     At today's Committee of the Whole meeting of the Will County Board, updated plans for a future judicial complex were revealed. This new courthouse is proposed to be constructed on the site of the former First Midwest Bank building at the corner of Jefferson and Ottawa Streets in downtown Joliet. Workforce Services Division of Will County has scheduled its December workshops for job seekers, the first in its new location.

The Will County VAC is moving!! Will County Veteran's Assistance Commission new location will be 2400 Glenwood Ave. Joliet, IL 60435 effective December 1, 2015.

Workforce Services Division of Will County opened at a new location at 2400 Glenwood Ave. on Monday, Nov. 23. 

After six years, job seekers who need clothes for interviews or work will be looking in a different “closet.”

With a final vote on Will County’s FY 2016 budget anticipated at tomorrow’s county board meeting, Will County Executive Larry Walsh expressed his concerns about cuts to several critical areas of county services.  Two of particular concern are the removal of four Division of Transportation truck driver positions and a significant cut to the county’s successful recycling programs.
