I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Teams Up with Joliet Township Government for Fresh Produce Pop-Up Event

The Will County Executive Office is partnering with Joliet Township Government to provide free fruits and vegetables at a Fresh Produce Pop-Up Event scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2025 from 3-5 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the Forest Park Community Center, 1017 Woodriff Rd, Joliet.

Will County Seeking Grant Applications for Programs Aimed at Addressing Opioid Epidemic

Will County has announced $2 Million in grant funds available to support programs aimed at addressing the opioid epidemic and supporting people who have been impacted by opioids. Organizations in Will County can apply for up to $250,000 to invest in treatment or prevention programs.

Construction Begins on New Will County Veteran Assistance and Support Center

Will County leaders have announced the start of construction at the future home of the Will County Veterans Assistance Commission (VAC) at 1300 Copperfield Avenue in Joliet. Once completed, the new facility will serve as a unified Veteran Assistance and Support Center at the heart of a unified campus for veteran services.

Public Meeting Planned to Discuss Eastern Will County Mobility Study

The Will County Division of Transportation (DOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting to share information and hear feedback about the ongoing Eastern Will County Freight Mobility Corridor Study, which is aimed at improving east-west mobility and reducing truck congestion on local roads. The open-house style meeting will take place from 4-7 p.m. on June 26, 2025 at Monee Elementary School, 25425 S. Will Center Road in Monee.

"Our Way Forward" plan will guide the next 25 years of county transportation projects

Public input is being accepted on Will County’s draft “Our Way Forward” Long Range Transportation Plan, a long-term planning effort that will guide the next 25 years of countywide transportation projects. Will County residents can share their feedback on the draft plan by visiting www.ourwaywill.co until June 20, 2025.
