Update: Power Restored

1:30 PM - 3/13/26:

Update: Power has been restored at Will County buildings.

Please note that Joliet remains under a high wind warning for the remainder of the afternoon. We will provide updates on any additional issues that may arise.

12:30 PM - 3/13/26:

Power is currently out at the County Office Building and many other locations in and around downtown Joliet. County staff is working with ComEd to assess if there is a timeline on when it will be restored.

The public is advised to call first before visiting any offices to conduct county business. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they occur throughout the day.
