Will County Government Office Experiencing Temporary Phone Outages

Various Will County elected offices and departments are currently experiencing a phone service outage, limiting the ability to receive internal phone calls and call external phone numbers.

Callers contacting the county will receive an error message or a busy signal. Residents awaiting a call from a Will County office may experience delays.

Will County staff are awaiting further information from AT&T on the outage. Updates will be provided on the county website: www.willcounty.gov.

[Update – 2:00 PM, 4/28/25] – Phone service has been restored to Will County Offices. AT&T is still investigating the cause of the outage. If a Will County phone number is still experiencing issues, residents are advised to call the main switchboard at 815-740-4601.
