Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Will County Executive

County Executive Walsh Launches “Will Connects 2040” to update  County’s Long Range Transportation Plan

Will County Executive Larry Walsh has invited local transportation and business leaders to officially kick off the start of “Will Connects 2040”, the County’s initiative to update its current long range transportation plan. Will Connects 2040 will establish a strategic direction and set priorities for future transportation investments throughout the County while considering all modes and modal connections, including roads, transit, bicycle and pedestrian, aviation, intermodal networks, and freight.

Will Connects 2040, Will County's long range transportation planning initiative, has kicked off with the goal of creating a blueprint for transportation investment and policy for fast growing Will County. Stakeholders throughout the County are invited to participate in developing the plan. Will County Division of Transportation (DOT) has launched an online community engagement tool on its project website,
www.WillConnects2040.org to gather community input in an interactive and engaging way. The online survey is currently active.
