I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Denise Maiolo Confirmed as Will County Human Resources Director

WILL COUNTY – County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant has appointed Denise Maiolo as Director of the Will County Human Resources Department. Maiolo’s appointment was confirmed today by the Will County Board.

“I am happy to welcome Denise to Will County. She brings years of leadership experience in human resources,” said Bertino-Tarrant. “Denise’s background in local government policies will be a great value to our workforce.”

Maiolo previously served as the Human Resources Director for two large communities, including the Village of Orland Park, where she oversaw full cycle recruitment, compensation, and benefits management for over 700 employees. Before that, she worked at the Village of Tinley Park for 14 years, where she was promoted to Human Resources Director after serving as Deputy Director and Human Resources Assistant. Her leadership experience in large organizations also includes serving as Program Director for the Riviera Country Club & Sports Center, and Vice President of Templeton & Associates.

“I am proud to join Will County and to support the important work of the Human Resources Department,” said Maiolo. “I look forward to working with leadership and staff to find opportunities for innovation in our policies and procedures.”

Maiolo earned a Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the South Suburban Chapter Human Resource Association.
