Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Open House - WCDOT ADA Transition Plan

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Will County Division of Transportation (WCDOT) invites the public to attend a public meeting and open house for the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan.

The plain aims to ensure that the WCDOT creates accessible paths of travel on roadway right-of-way for people with disabilities. Right-of-way is defined as reserved land for transportation purposes, such as a county highway or pedestrian accommodations. The Transition Plan is limited to highway and pedestrian accommodations in Will County right-of-way and does not include other properties.

WCDOT will be holding two public meetings and open houses, which will begin with a brief presentation and will feature exhibits of county right-of-way:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5 PM – 7 PM – Will County Office Building – 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet IL 60432
  • Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5 PM – 7 PM – Crete Public Library – 1177 Main St., Crete, IL 60417

Questions can be directed to the WCDOT at highways@willcountyillinois.com or (815) 727-8476.
