Job SummaryThe Administrative Clerk is responsible for performing a full range of administrative and secretarial related duties for the Superintendent’s office. The candidate must be efficient, highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and team player that can successfully manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. The Administrative Clerk must have the skill to think through every aspect of a task from the beginning to the end. The Administrative Clerk must always maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Assists customers requesting to receive or send GED/transcripts. • Answers incoming phone calls, provides appropriate information or refers callers to appropriate staff. • Handle test forms, requests, and payments regarding GED status. • Excellent communication and customer-oriented solutions. • Perform other duties as assigned or as directed. • Provides general secretarial support with copying, distributing mail, faxing and ordering office supplies for Superintendent’s office.
Minimum QualificationsHS diploma or equivalent, associate degree (preferred) in office management or equivalent field. Strong typing skills. Proficiency in Google Suites, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office business applications. Strong work ethic, highly professional demeanor, positive and friendly attitude. Discretion, reliability, loyalty, flexibility, and confidentiality are a must. Ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Range$41,600/yr.
