Effective immediately, Discover no longer offers reduced fees for payment of property taxes. You may still use your Discover card to pay through our usual web site. Fees to Discover will be 2.28% of the payment amount–similar to amount paid when using other credit cards. This change was NOT made by the Will County Treasurer’s office. Taxes Paid to Claypool Drainage District
The Treasurer office is directed by a state statute to bill, collect and distribute any taxes set by the drainage district in a court order. The court order states who to bill and the amounts to bill each year, this recorded document is on file with the Circuit Court in Grundy County under 1963-TX-1836.
The maintenance fee on non-farm properties increased from $10.00 to $26.00
