The Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will host their “When Seconds Matter: Public Preparedness Workshop” on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood. The free community event is designed to help residents stay safe, informed, and prepared for emergencies and disasters of all kinds.

The Workforce Services Division of Will County will be hosting their fourth-annual Pathways to Professions Career Expo from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Romeoville Athletic and Events Center (55 Phelps Ave, Romeoville). The free expo aims to connect job seekers with over 80 employers from a wide range of in-demand industries.

The Will County Resource Recovery and Energy (RRE) Division is set to host its annual three-day Book Reuse and Recycling event Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Dr, Joliet.
