Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Imagination Library Kick-Off Event Draws a Crowd

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Will County held its kickoff event in January, attracting hundreds of local residents interested in celebrating and learning more about the literacy program. County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant has partnered with the Will County Center for Economic Development to bring the program to Will County.

Attendees participated in raffles, dressed in iconic Dolly get-ups, and stuck around to watch a showing of the 1980s film “9 to 5”, starring Dolly Parton! Over $26,000 was raised at the event - a significant step closer to the $150,000 goal to bring Imagination Library to Will County.

Thank you to the Rialto Square Theatre for hosting the event, the generous sponsors and donors, and the dedicated volunteers who made this an unforgettable celebration of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The program will make a real impact in the lives of children throughout Will County, and we’re one step closer to fully launching!
