Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Will County Executive

Last Call for Feedback on Will County's Long Range Transportation Plan

Will County reminds residents to share their opinions on the future of transportation in the county as the feedback-gathering of the current phase of the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is set to close on Dec. 31, 2024.

An online survey is available for Will County residents to take and submit their feedback on a variety of transportation-based concepts and indicate areas of concern or possible improvements in areas they are familiar with. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be available through the end of the calendar year.

Will County’s LRTP “Our Way Forward 2050” aims to support mobility throughout the county by guiding transportation policies and investments through 2050 with an equitable and resilient framework. After collecting and reviewing the final public survey responses, a draft of the plan will be developed, produced, and shared for further feedback before a final plan is created. The plan is estimated to be ready for adoption by the end of 2025.
