Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Pop-Up Healthy Lifestyle Event to be Held in University Park on August 29

UNIVERSITY PARK – A “Healthy Lifestyle Event” will be hosted in University Park to provide produce, healthcare services, and community resources on Thursday, August 29 at the University Park Village Hall, 90 Towncenter Dr.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant is partnering with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, the Village of University Park, the Will County Health Department & Community Health Center, and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services to host this event.

“These events are aimed at promoting healthy outcomes for residents by both direct services and the connection to local resources that provide support throughout the year,” said County Executive Bertino-Tarrant. “This is our second year hosting this event in University Park, and I appreciate all of our partners who are working with us to provide healthcare services to the community.”

The event will feature a variety of free healthcare services, including wellness checks, pediatric immunizations (from birth to 15 months old), and care coordination. Free fruit and vegetables will also be provided to attendees, while supplies last. Various state and local agencies will be on-hand to share information about local resources and services.
