Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Workforce Center of Will County to host weekly job fair August 25

Area job seekers are invited to attend a weekly job fair at the Workforce Center of Will County from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25.

Among the positions employers will be looking to fill are diesel technician, forklift/reach truck operator, galvanizing associate, general laborer/lumper, home care aide/homemaker, independent living coach, pallet inspectors, picker/packer, production line workers, program specialist, transportation aide, and warehouse workers.

WCWC Manager Susan Flessner said the events allow job seekers to meet with several employers at once.

“These job fairs are an efficient way for both job seekers and employers,” Flessner said. “Someone looking for a job can make many contacts in one day and employers are able to interview people on the spot.”

The weekly events are held at the Workforce Center of Will County, 2400 Glenwood Ave., Suite 100. The day and times vary.

Will County Executive Larry Walsh encourages job seekers to be prepared to take advantage of the weekly events.

“Bring your resume, dress for success and be ready for an interview,” he said.
