Will County offers resources to address coronavirus

Will County officials are encouraging residents to reference the Illinois Department of Public Health or the Center for Disease Control for additional information about the coronavirus or COVID-19. These sites give lots of information about the number of cases in the state and nationally as well as background information on coronavirus and recommended treatments.

In response to the evolving issue of the coronavirus or COVID-19 around the world, Rhonda Novak, the Will County Supervisor of Assessments, has announced a delay in the mailing and processing of all renewal exemption applications including the 2020 Senior Freeze Exemption and the 2020 Disabled Person and Disabled Veterans renewals and new applications.

Mobile Workforce Center’s March schedule released

The Mobile Workforce Center of Will County’s March schedule has been announced.

The mobile unit travels throughout Will County to help residents with resume development, cover letters and job applications. The workforce center contains 11 computer stations, internet access, and offers keyboarding lessons, as well as resume and job search assistance using online listings including www.jobs4people.org and Illinois WorkNet.
