I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Will County Families Invited to Attend Presidents Day Kids’ Fair

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant invites families to attend a fun-filled Kids’ Fair on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 from 9 a.m. until noon at Troy Middle School, 5800 W. Theodore St., Plainfield. The free event features interactive and educational activities from local organizations, businesses, and government agencies.

“All families are invited to attend this fun, family-friendly fair on this day off of school,” said County Executive Bertino-Tarrant. “This is the official 10th anniversary of this event, which annually draws hundreds of families for both fun activities and learning about local resources.”

The fair will feature educational activities, live performances by local youth organizations, games, crafts, and storytelling. Over 50 participating organizations will feature interactive and family-fun activities at their table to engage attendees. This year’s fair will also feature special appearances from local mascots and characters between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., who will be available for photos.
