Will County Executive Walsh commends organized labor for excellent work on new county courthouse

On December 19, the one year anniversary of the groundbreaking of the new Will County Courthouse, County Executive Larry Walsh met with members of organized labor on the tenth floor of the new structure to thank them for the diligent work over the past year.

Parents, grandparents and staff are invited to attend an eye-opening presentation taking place on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Joliet West High School, 401 N. Larkin Avenue. Dinner will be provided from 5:00-6:15 PM and a resource fair will take place from 5:00-6:30 PM.

Health services and public parking remain in operation as construction begins on new health department

Construction is now underway on the new Will County Health Department facility, to be located east of the existing building at 501 Ella Avenue. Health Department Executive Director Susan Olenek wants residents to know all services and public parking will remain available during this process.

WCWC releases January workshop schedule

The Workforce Center of Will County January schedule has been released.

Career Cafe will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15. Career Cafe is a networking event designed to connect people looking for work. In addition to sharing tips with other job seekers and learning job search techniques, participants will hear from guest speakers sharing their hiring expertise.
