Workforce Center of Will County will host a business services workshop on Thursday, June 21, at its 2400 Glenwood Ave. location.

The Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St., will be closed in obervance of  Memorial Day on Monday, May 28.

The annual Will County three-day book recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday-Sunday, June 1-3, at Joliet Park District’s Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Drive.

The Workforce Center of Will County June schedule, which includes workshops offered by the Workforce Services Division of Will County, Illinois Department of Employment Security and Joliet Junior College, has been released.

Workforce Services Division of Will County has announced the Mobile Workforce Center’s June schedule. MWC has stops in six communities.

Students from eight schools celebrated the planet and their roles in protecting it at the annual Earth Flag Awards at Rialto Square Theater.

ROMEOVILLE – Lt. Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti will offer welcoming comments at the 2018 HERO HELPS Southwest Coalition Community Summit during where she will share our state’s efforts to curtail the opioid crisis that has plagued Illinois and the Nation.

The Community Summit, which is free and open to the public, begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 11 at the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center in Romeoville.
