Participants will learn interviewing techniques at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, in Successful Interviewing. Learn how to prepare for a job interview, be confident and make a positive impression. Attendees may schedule an individual, digitally recorded mock interview after completing the workshop.

The mobile unit travels throughout Will County to help residents with resume development, cover letters and job applications. JOLIET – At today’s meeting, the Will County Board passed its 2015 budget. In a 13-13 split vote, County Executive Larry Walsh cast the vote to approve the $464 million budget.

ROMEOVILLE – Governor Pat Quinn today announced that the $69.2 million Interstate 55/Weber Road improvement project in Will County is moving forward, with the first construction projects to be awarded soon. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) today announced that roadwork will begin on both directions of U.S. 6, between McClintock Road and Interstate 55, in Will County, for a pavement resurfacing project. The project will begin; weather permitting, on Monday, Oct. 27, with a tentative completion date of late November.
