Job SummaryThis position oversees analyzing malfunctions, repairs, minor rebuilding and maintains construction equipment. Some equipment examples as follows: backhoe, end loader, skid steer, sweeper, Gradall, paving machines, trench-digging machines, conveyors, pumps, compressors, pneumatic tools, automobiles, buses, vans, trucks, other automotive vehicles, as well as individually operated power tools and pneumatic tools. Candidates should also be qualified to operate related equipment.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School graduation or equivalency required. Five (5) years of progressively related automotive and equipment maintenance skill development, as Equipment Mechanic, or similar background required. Must successfully complete an “In-basket” skills examination. Possession of a valid CDL Class A with Air Brakes endorsement required and minimum liability insurance by law. Must successfully complete and pass a job-related physical/lift assessment. Subject to a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening and/or drug and alcohol test, FMCSA Clearinghouse pre-employment queries on any potential new DOT FMCSA regulated driver prior to placement in a safety-sensitive position and limited annual FMSCA Clearinghouse Queries.
Salary Range$74,871/yr. (Starting Compensation) – $93,588/yr.
