The Veterans Assistance Commission of Will County (VACWC) office is proud to stand alongside the **Hines VA Joliet Community Based Outpatient Clinic** and **Volunteers of America Illinois’ Hope Manor Housing**. Together, we form a unified Veteran Support Campus, making it easier than ever for local Veterans and their families to access comprehensive, wrap-around services in one central location.
The VACWC is a truly unique organization within the state of Illinois. While our core mission centers on helping Veterans secure their hard-earned federal VA benefits, we recognize that true support goes far beyond paperwork. We actively coordinate with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on comprehensive case management to ensure no Veteran falls through the cracks.
Furthermore, we are proud to be the **only commission of our kind in the state** to feature dedicated, in-house staff from the **Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA)**, allowing us to seamlessly bridge the gap between local, state, and federal resources.
