National Certification & Standards
The Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) at the Veterans Assistance Commission of Will County (VACWC) are held to the highest standard in Illinois. To maintain our national credentials and process your claims accurately, our staff completes annual accredited Continuing Education Units (CEUs) certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Our Veteran Service Officers are fully accredited by the
National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO).
We specialize in helping local Veterans and their families navigate complex federal benefits systems to secure the support they earned through their service.
The value of professional advocacy is clear: between 2015 and 2017, the VACWC service team successfully recovered over
$7.6 million in federal benefits for local area Veterans.
