Will County Executive Bertino-Tarrant, Senator Cappel, and Representative Manley Hosting Fresh Produce Pop-Up Event in Romeoville
Will County residents are invited to attend a drive-up event for free fruits and vegetables in Romeoville on July 29, hosted as a partnership between Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, and State Representative Natalie Manley aimed at connecting local households with healthy food options.
The pop-up event will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m., or while supplies last, on Wednesday, July 29. It will be held at the High Point Creative Arts Center at 174 S. Highpoint Drive in Romeoville.
Produce will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Registration is not required and volunteers will be on-hand to line up and load vehicles with produce.
